Technology transfer Licensing

Licensing procedure for technology transfer applies to technologies that are restricted to transfer; Proposal for technology transfer to be accepted:
Organizations, individuals that need to receive or assign technologies categorized as restricted-to-transfer technologies must file documents to competent authority for technology transfer licenses.

Time limitation for examining technology transfer proposal is 30 days since full valid dossier is filed to competent body.

Technology transfer licensing

After getting approval from authority, concered parties carry out signing technology transfer contract. Then, one of the parties is responsible for filing documents to competent body for the agreement to be licensed. Within 10 working days since receiving full valid dossier, such authority will examine the technology transfer licensing.

Registering technology transfer agreement

Parties that sign a technology transfer contract have right to register such contract to competent authority in order to enjoy preferential treatment stipulated by law in Vietnam.
